* WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

* WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?
I service all of the Bay of plenty. I can do DIY hire for areas outside the BOP, such as Rotorua, Waihi etc. *Additional Travel fee applies outside of Tauranga area.

* WHO IS RENEE CURRIE STYLES?
Its me! Renee, I'm the one who you will chat to, message with and will put your event all together! I'm a mum of two and love a good party, so I totally get what is needed to put together a perfect party! I love planning events and all my life people told me I should be doing this for a job...so I now am! I just love the process of planning, creating and putting together stylish events

* WHO WILL SET UP MY PARTY?
I will...most of the time, but I also have some helpers when it gets too busy for a one woman band, so one of my talented stylists might be at your event, if this is the case I will let you know.
* FOR DIY, WHERE IS THE DIY PICK UP AND DROP OFF POINT?
Pick up and drop off is Papamoa. If items are delivered or picked up this will incur an extra charge.
* WHAT PAYMENT DO YOU REQUIRE?
A deposit of 50% is required on receipt of the invoice to confirm your booking. Payment of the balance in full is required 2 weeks prior to your event. Please note: your booking is not confirmed until deposit is made. I am under not obligation to hold your booking request until this is paid.
* WHAT AGE DO YOU CATER FOR?
Sleepovers are suitable for ages 5 years and up. Picnics are suitable for first birthdays up.
* WHAT INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGES?
ALL the items listed for each package. Please refer to the list on the relevant pages.
* HOW LONG IS HIRE FOR?
Sleepovers are overnight hire. Subject to availability DIYs can be picked up the day before to give you more time to set up. Returned the following day unless otherwise agreed.
Picnics and kids parties - Hire is generally for 4 - 6 hours (not including set up time) but I am easy with time. Collection of picnics is to be 830pm at the latest, to avoid packing up in the dark and to ensure no one is drinking at one of my picnics after the liquor ban - 9pm. Romantic picnics are 2 hours hire. Extended or overnight hire is available at private residences for an extra charge. If you hire overnight, you must pack up and clean the gear, and store it inside overnight. All dishes are to be cleaned. I will wash any linen napkins.
* DO I NEED TO WASH THE SHEETS AND BLANKETS FROM MY SLEEPOVER?
No, I will do that for you as part of the service, if there are any stains or damage, please let me know.

* WILL MY PARTY LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PHOTOS?
It will look better! Décor may vary from set up to set up. Each party is unique and styled individually. The photos I provide are an example of my setups, no two are exactly the same, but I do have looks and themes that I do regularly. If there is something specific you have seen and want. Please let me know so I can include that in the styling for you.

* WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL, CHANGE THE NUMBER OF GUESTS OR RESCHEDULE?
In the event of cancellation 8+ days before your event, a refund of 50% will be given. Cancellation within 7 days no refund will be given. Decreasing your numbers of guests within 7 days – no adjustment refund will be given. Please make sure you check your numbers of guests and confirm before this deadline.

* CAN I CHANGE MY BOOKING DATE?
I can re book your party to another date if appropriate notice is given ( 7+ Days ) – this is strictly subject to availability and at the discretion of Renee Currie Styles. The rebooking period is within 3 months. Rebooking your party is not possible if you cancel anytime on the day off or day before your event.

* FOR OUTDOOR EVENTS WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
In the event of rain or inclement weather, you should have an indoor back up wet weather option. Rescheduling to another date is possible subject to availability. Full refunds are not available simply in the case of bad weather; a wet weather alternative option should be arranged by the customer. Umbrellas should be taken down if there is rain ( they are sun umbrellas – not waterproof ) Or in high winds. Please be careful with these umbrellas. They are expensive to replace if damaged.

* WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING IS DAMAGED?
You are responsible for the hire equipment while it is in your care. If there is damage being done to the hire equipment, it is expected that you will act accordingly and remove the equipment from potential damage. Eg: rough play, tampering with equipment, jumping on airbeds, excessive spillage of drinks and food. I ask for a $150 bond in the case of any damage. I accept that there is wear and tear, but damage to equipment will be charged for.
* WHAT AM I EXPECTED TO CLEAN IF I HIRE A DIY PICNIC?
All dishes must be cleaned, napkins washed and all items packed up clean and tidy. Please be extra careful with delicate items like dried flowers and Toi Toi. Do not crush these. Please let me know of any stains or damage.
* WHERE CAN I HAVE MY PICNIC SET UP?
Set up location needs to have accessible access, close to direct parking for unloading and moving picnic gear. Please pre-arrange and discuss your location with me prior to set up. It’s also good to have public toilets near your location. I do not set up Picnics for over 12 people on the beach. This is because of the hard work involved to move heavy equipment into place.
Preferred set up locations for ease of set up and access to toilet facilities and parking are,
- Taylors Reserve, on the grass overlooking the beach or on the beach at the south end of Papamoa with good short access ways.
- Tay Street or Pilot bay on the grass overlooking the beach, Mt Maunganui
- Motiti Reserve park, East Papamoa.
- Kulim Park, Chapel Street beach, Tauranga
- Your home, inside, on decks or backyard.
- Parks or Gardens with good access and parking.
I make the call on where I'm comfortable to set up, but will do my best to accommodate your request of location.
